The Footy covers footy, the weird topics happening around the footy, and stranger, stupider, more pointless points of discussion in the footy world. With absolutely zero footy talent and even less expertise, Kelly and his mate Tom chat about the weekly happenings of footy from outside the inner sanctum. Along with sports journalist Marnie Vinall, plus regular guests from the comedy world, this pod aims to be a home for the alternative footy fan. The Footy can now be heard three times per week and seen via their YouTube channel as well. The show launched in 2023 and quickly rose to no.1 for sport on the Spotify and Apple charts. In March 2024, The Footy was featured in the top 100 Australian made podcasts on the official Triton Ranker.

Broden John Kelly is half of the three current performing members of Aunty Donna, a host of the Aunty Donna Podcast and a main cast member in Aunty Donna's Big Ol' House of Fun. Outside Aunty Donna, Broden is known for being in a Coles MasterCard ad and for being a Ginger. He also appeared in How to Stay Married, Orange Is The New Brown, and True Story with Hamish and Andy.  

Thomas Zahariou (formerly Tom Armstrong) is Aunty Donna's sound designer and composer. He composes and mixes the music for Aunty Donna's live shows and web series. 

Marnie Vinall is a Melbourne-based sports writer, journalist and podcaster who currently works for The Age after previous roles with ESPN and Channel 7.

The Footy aims to be the home for the alternate footy fan. It speaks to a different audience that the other Clubby Shows, but they are no less passionate fans. The crossover with the comedy world means the podcast is light and free, but that doesn’t mean it shies away from the meaty topics.
